Our event is an official part of Doors Open/Culture Days and we would like to thank the London Arts and Heritage Councils for including us in this exciting weekend of community fun.
We’re also thrilled to announce a partnership with students at Oakridge Secondary School – they will be helping us design volunteer t-shirts, event logo, and will be volunteering with us during the event itself. While we’re still finalizing our volunteer t-shirt design, we’re received two fantastic drafts.
We would like to thank Awesome London for granting us the money necessary to make the application to the Guinness Book of World Records. If you are a community-minded company or organization that would like to help support this event, please contact Kim or Ryan at info@dhmakerbus.com – we are currently looking for event sponsors.
We will have even more news in the near future (including what promises to be an extremely special announcement) so stay tuned to the MakerBus on Twitter (@DHMakerBus) and Facebook (TheMakerBus) for all the latest details. We can’t wait to hold hands with 2000 of our closest friends and achieve something AWESOME as a community!
-The MakerBus Team
Hi, I’m a member of Raider Robotics team. We are interested in this awesome event and we are wondering that if our team members can stand next to each other in the circuit and wear our team shirts?
Definitely! Bring the team and wear your shirts – it will look great!
